Day 1: Forging the Foundations of Endless Conflict
Welcome to the dark cradle of our untitled idler-strategy nightmare. We dropped into a barren sample scene, a bleak sandbox where hope goes to die (and where you’ll soon carve your empire in blood). It’s empty now, but soon it’ll teem with the relentless grind of gears, guns, and grudges. Think of it as the womb of despair—cold lighting, jagged shadows, and just enough space to march your units straight into oblivion.
Next up, we wired in the Unit Movement System. Now your grim little soldiers shuffle across the terrain on cue—no heroics, no shortcuts, just cold, calculated steps toward slaughter. We paired that with a Unit Selection System that clicks like a guillotine: highlight your pawns, point them toward their doom, rinse and repeat.
On the flip side, our Enemy Random Movement AI is already scuttling about like rats in a rat king, purely for demo purposes. They wander, they bump into walls, they create perfect chaotic fodder for your towers of murderous doom. We also slapped on a Shooting System, so now every projectile feels like a whispered threat—each spark of muzzle-flash a promise of pain.
Finally, we carved out the Health System with visual feedback that bleeds onto the screen: red washes of damage, flickering bars, maybe even a little faint heartbeat icon for dramatic effect. You’ll know you’re close to death long before your units text their last Snapchat. Nothing screams grimdark like watching your minions crumble beneath your own dark designs.
